Our 2022 standard assessment and/or therapy fee schedule includes:

60 minute session $190*

*Service Australia Health Care and Pensioner Concession card holder are eligible for a 20% fee reduction for 60 minute speech pathology sessions. Terms and conditions apply. Please contact connect2community for more details.

NDIS

The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) is an Australian Government initiative that provides funding for people up to 65 years with a lifelong disability. connect2community speech pathology provides services to NDIS participants who are self-managed or plan-managed.

DEPARTMENT OF  VETERAN AFFAIRS (DVA)

If you are a veteran cardholder your GP may refer you to Speech Pathology. This enables you to receive up to 12 sessions per treatment cycle. Once a treatment cycle has ended you can receive a new referral from your GP if further treatment is required. Speech pathology schedule fees (effective 1st October 2022) are charged in accordance with the DVA requirements.

PRIVATE HEALTH FUNDS

Many private health funds provide coverage for treatment from registered Speech Pathologists generally under extras or ancillary cover options. Funds do vary so please check your inclusions to ensure that you are eligible for rebates. The amount that will be paid varies from fund to fund and for the type of service claimed. You will need to contact your health fund directly to determine the rebates you will receive.

Speech pathology services use the following item numbers for Private Health Funds:

MEDICARE – CHRONIC DISEASE MANAGEMENT PLAN (CDM)

Chronic Disease Management Plans are provided through consultation with your General Practitioner. CDMs provide Medicare rebates for many Allied Health services including Speech Pathology. If you have a chronic condition that is being managed with your GP, you may be eligible for up to 5 rebates for Allied Health services per calendar year. A chronic condition is defined as a medical condition that has been or will be with you for 6 months or longer. For any further information please consult your GP.
